Since 1999. Ritual is the first fetish party in Italy.
Official partner, ambassador and producer of the Italian edition of Torture Garden, the world's leading fetish club.

All Ritual parties are organized with a keen eye to the subject of sexuality and the body, to alternative subcultures and new artistic media, with the aim to coordinate performances, projections, live acts, visuals, installations.

HISTORY
Ritual was founded by the musician and club promoter DJ Ritual.
In the early 90s he moves from Rome to London and he discovers Torture Garden, the World’s Leading Fetish Club. The experience of TG gives him the inspiration for what becomes the philosophy of The Next Vision of Clubbing.
The name Ritual was inspired by the album Ritual de lo Habitual by Jane’s Addiction, Perry Farrell’s band, a concept album about spiritualistic ascension through a magic ceremony. A ritual is something you repeat to not get lost, to find yourself, a ceremony of sharing.
First official Ritual event was kick-started on December 15, 1999 by a group of clubbers fed up with the static and no-energy Italian club scene.
The new party immediately established itself as a must-go-to monthly event among like-minded alternative clubbers and the fetish crowd.

CONCEPT
Ritual is a physical and mental environment where people can explore self-expression, cherish their fetishes, push the limits of their bodies, dress up to the nines or get down to some banging tune, submit or instigate, jump in or just stand by.
Free Self-Expression respecting Free Self-Expression of others is our philosophy.

COMMUNITY
Over the years Ritual transcends its party identity and becomes a real community. People from different social and cultural backgrounds and from different generations come together in the principle of inclusivity.
Ritual supports any individual lifestyle, way of being, kink, ethnicity, minority, alternative sexuality, gender identity and sexual orientation.
Racism and sexism are not allowed.
Everyone is different. Everyone is welcome.
Respect is mandatory.

ART
Ritual activities are focused on all the alternative subcultures often marginalized by mainstream culture.
Ritual can proudly claim to have hosted some of the most forward thinking artists, ground breaking performers, rule shattering musicians, awe inspiring DJs and utterly mad clubbers.
Aerial, Body Art, Freak Circus, Burlesque, Shibari, Painting and Sculpture Exhibitions are typical Ritual contents.

You need to be edgy, creative, unique.

No: Casual Streetwear, Jeans, Regular Fabric Trousers, Sneakers, Cotton T-Shirts, Classic Shirts, Ordinary Style, Simple Elegant, Traditional Classy, Half Measures.

SAFE, SANE AND CONSENSUAL
Safe, Sane and Consensual is our sacred rule and you must respect it.
Good manners and proper behaviour are mandatory to join a Ritual party.
No disrespectful or inappropriate act will be tolerated.
Whoever violates this simple rule or gets caught without a proper outfit,
will be asked to leave the club.
