The series addresses, in a non-stereotypical way, the world of swingers, showing its participants as individuals with normal lives and honest relationships. Through revealing stories across 5 episodes, the series seeks to educate and challenge perceptions, encouraging a broader understanding of sexuality and human relationships.

Therefore, the aim of the series "swingers, a lifestyle" is a realistic approach to the universe of swingers, where the participants are portrayed the way they are, with a normal life, with families, jobs and hobbies, but having decided to live their sexuality to the fullest and without deception. A lifestyle that many couples are interested in, but do not dare to try, or do not know how to indulge in.

Communication, agreements and rules are vital for swingers to strengthen their relationship as a couple, enjoy and learn from each experience. In this series, you will discover everything you have been wondering about - and hey, maybe it'll even encourage you to try things out for yourself.

Director

DIgcy "La Guera" Mejías. Born in Caracas, she moved to Mexico and debuted as a director and screenwriter with the short film "Y el cangrejo resultó no ser inmortal", which has participated in and won at several film festivals around the world. She received recognition in Los Angeles from Congressman Jimmy Gomez and Senator Maria Elena Durazo for her contribution to the arts.

Her documentary short film "Llámenme puta" won the award for best Mexican documentary short film at the International Queer Film Festival in Playa del Carmen.

With the same documentary short, she obtained a nomination for the Ariel Award from the Mexican Film Academy in 2022.

Selected in 2023 as a juror for the 16th edition of the Broadway International film festival in Los Angeles and the Black Gold Film Festival in Veracruz, the FEICCA, and FICMA.

Member of the Venezuelan Film Academy and the Mexican Film Academy.

In 2023, she was invited as Associate Producer of Wahu, where she also became the producer of the series: "Swingers, un estilo de vida", which will premiere as the first original production of the platform.
