Yes, we’re all sick of the stereotypes about non-monogamous people, but we can’t deny that the one about us being a bunch of board-game-loving nerds is actually pretty accurate. Enter: Non-monopoly.
Whether you love organised fun or prefer to just do your own thing, you’re welcome to come down and connect (four).
Solo players, come down early - your hosts for the evening will be facilitating new connections and will help you to find your people.
What to expect
Expect challenges and fabulous prizes courtesy of our friends at JOYclub.
Expect dedicated tables for quick and fun games, a raucous tournament you can get stuck into if you want to, music, themed cocktails, prizes, and of course, socialising.
Naturally you should expect hilarity from Danny Fucking Price.
There’s no wrong way to enjoy this event – throw yourself into the competitions or hole up in a corner away from the chaos – it’s up to you m8.
Doors open at 6.30pm. Come down early to meet new pals. Your hosts for the evening will be there to ease you into a night of connecting.
Who is welcome at Non-monopoly?
If you’re non-monogamous or interested in making non-monogamous connections, come on down. You don’t need previous board game OR non-monogamy experience to take part – just be ready to get stuck in and have some fun.
Come on your own, bring your ex or bring the whole polycule – both individuals and groups are welcome.
About your hosts
You might know us from social media, Danny’s the one who swears too much and Poppy’s the one who overshares for a living. We’re together fyi. So we thought we’d put our heads together and host a non-monogamous social event that brings people together through a love of games.
Why are we doing this?
It’ll be fun innit.

About the venue
Draughts is an iconic competitive social space housing over 1,000+ collection (the biggest private collection of board games in the capital).
The kitchen will be open until 10pm. From giant nachos, to pulled pork and cheeseburgers, Korean chicken and Buffalo cauliflower. Whether you’re vegetarian, vegan or gluten free, the kitchen has something for everybody.
It’s not just board games they have on tap. With plenty of soft drinks, draught beers, IPA and cider, a wine list and delicious cocktails there’s something for everyone.
Draughts is located at 41 Kingsland High St, London E8 2JS.
Accessibility
The event is across the ground floor of the venue.
Wheelchair access and disabled toilets are available.
There is plenty of seating throughout.
There is an outdoor area (weather permitting).
Please let us know if you have any particular accessibility questions or requirements and we'll be very happy to accommodate you.
There is no dress code. Although we will be playing games, this is a social party and not a play party.

NON-MONOPOLY was created by queer and polyamorous people for our community, and we aim to create a welcoming environment for individuals of all ages (18+) and backgrounds, as such we operate with the following rules:
This is a social event for non-monogamous people to make friends and connect.
We will not tolerate creepiness, cruising or discrimination of any kind.
We have a strict 'NO HATE' policy. Please be respectful of fellow attendees and their boundaries.
Anyone found to be breaking the house rules will be removed from the event and barred from future events.
